Block Printing

This is the perfect kit if you don’t consider yourself “good at art” because it requires absolutely zero drawing skills. It’s also fun if you are a seasoned artist since printmaking forces you to think in reverse. Your kit contains the same materials Heidi Peters uses when making block prints. It includes:

• Speedball brayer
• 4x6 piece of carving material (two-sided)
• Practice piece of carving material
• Black water-based ink
• Carving tool with three knives
• 40 sheets of Strathmore printmaking paper
• Piece of palette paper
• Ready-to-use designs

You will have enough supplies to make TWO different print designs plus plenty of extra ink and paper for future projects.

Your purchase also includes access to a full-length video demonstration by Heidi, where she shares her process and techniques. Starting with learning how the carving tool works, you will then transfer a design to the block, carve the block and print several copies. She also shares how to edition multiple prints.
